I have to say I was absolutely gobsmacked by how utterly pointless it is. Just who do they think is going to keep using it after the first 20 seconds of playing with it?
It's aesthetically pleasing in a SIGGRAPH kind of way but in terms of opportunity lost it seems a crazy waste of development. I dislike Twitter anyway so I'm biased.
blocks is an ad for motorola. All an ad needs to do is catch your attention for two mins (and get some diggs to perpetuate). good marketing but does it help twitter's long term cred?
